The beauty of this building is amazing! You have to see it to understand. They don’t make buildings like this anymore. It’s also great to take a peek at Thomas Jefferson’s private collection that he donated to the Library of Congress. Definitely worth your time...More

This is a must see in DC. Especially for people who love libraries. You can take a free guided tour. The building is amazing! The sheer number of books is awe-inspiring. And anyone can become a member!

I agree, 90 minutes to 2 hours is a good time frame to put aside, that would give you enough time to either tour on your own or take a guided tour, plus have time to look around on your own if you do decide to do the tour... More
