We went to watch 'Lion King' here, we thought it will be tough to navigate through the place, it was not so bad. we loved the seating area, it is designed so most of the seats get a good view at the stage. the cafeteria we felt was small & costly but it has a beautiful terrace right next to... Went to my first opera at the kennedy center this past Saturday. I loved it. The whole experience was a delight.

In May we were lucky to see Giselle performed by the Bolshoi, and in November, we were blown away by the Washington National Opera's performance of La Boheme. We had incredible seats for both - in the orchestra for the ballet and front row in the first tier of the balcony for the opera. This venue is truly beautiful. We... More

Little Dancer is a Broadway bound show at the Eisenhower theatre. It was superb. Tiler Peck, the great ballerina steals the show but the other actors are also first rate. The KC restaurant on the Terrace level,is also very good.

The annual Kennedy Center Honors is one of our favorite TV shows of the year. It's staged in the center's posh main theater. The center also has an Opera House. the Eisenhower Theater and other smaller theaters. On this visit, our first time here, we only had time for the one hour free daily show on the Millennium Stage...which is... More

This was something from my bucket list. La Boheme at Kennedy Center by the National Opera in Washington DC. Love Kennedy Center it is smaller than I realized. Great seats for less than $90. Wonderful orchestra. The cast is young and they need to develop more power for their voices. Also great special cocktails for the event ($14 a little... More

A great performance that our 14-year old enjoyed. There were several school groups there - in spite of the fact it was October. We like that the performance is interactive and that the actors/actresses converse with the audience during intermission. The view from the deck is great, too. We took several photos of the city before the performance.

We have been to The Kennedy Center a few times this year for symphony and dance events. There are many opportunities at The Kennedy Center to enjoy many choices. There are performances that require tickets that could be cost-prohibitive to many attendees and inner-city students and residents. However, I wonder if the public fully knows that every night of the... More

What a show! Rarely do you truly get to see a cast who can all sing, dance and act. Finally, it was here! The staging was magnificent. Even knowing the story, it was enchanting and magical. It's the best show I have seen at the Kennedy Center in two decades, at least. FABULOUS! SPECTACULAR! I'm not clear why the drinks... More
