We booked this tour prior to our visit to Washington. The building is more impressive in reality than it is in the movies. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and provided loads of detail about the history of both the American government and the history of the building. Great visit.

While you cant get close these days it is still worth a look as from here you can take great shots down the mall toward the monument and lincon memorial.

The first monument that we visited on our trip to DC. Was great to be there and see a place that have seen so many times on TV and film. Heaps of photos, the best from th Mall side as the sun goes down and it is lit up.

We were overwhelmed by how huge this building is. Absolutely giant and elegant and imposing. Any visitor to the US would feel impressed to enter our center of democracy here. We took a tour without advance planning. It included a 20 minute film, which was good and about 20 minutes of walking with the guide through the rotunda and statue... More

Best views of the Capitol are from the steps of the Library of Congress. Worth the walk to visit the LOC and when you are upstairs gaze at the Capitol. You can also arrange with your local representative for a free tour inside the Capitol building. A must

It was very interesting walking around Capitol Hill and noting all the security surrounding the building, as well as construction of the grandstands for the upcomng Inauguration.

Both parents and kids lived the experience at Capitol Hill. The history is new but great insight in the beginning of the U.S political system. Fairly you kids but the grasped the size and importance of the location. Think seeing it on every film helps😂
