Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We parked away from campus and hiked through the national forest to get to campus. Lots of neat old buildings and architecture to see on campus.

Had a great time taking my daughter to where I went to undergrad. From pictures with the John Carroll statute to a break in Dahlgren Chapel to wandering the Jesuit cemetery, it was great seeing her see it. Bookstore does close pretty early (5 pm) even on weekdays, so be prepared for that if you want gifts. Many changes since I was here but so many things are still the same.

Beautiful campus & surrounding area to walk around. Cobbled stone walkways in areas, historic. We stopped here in early evening before dinner so no crowds.

This university is beautiful architectures is beautiful to see. The entrance is impressive for anyone to enjoy, if you go by yard theres few benches to sit and have lunch. The statues in front of the school is picture perfect place.

We had the pleasure of visiting Georgetown this month. Georgetown is a beautiful campus. It is also an amazing place for a child to begin to dream about becoming a Future Hoyas.
We enjoyed viewing some of the buildings and visiting the bookstore. I purchased a sweatshirt for my son because I realize it is never to early to think about college or the career that one might enjoy pursuing. We had a wonderful time at Georgetown.

I loved my visit to Georgetown! Specifically the bookstore - there was a large selection of clothes and miscellaneous things to shop for. The staff was super friendly and fun! Definitely worth the visit to the campus!

we walked this campus expecting grandeur at every turn however we realized the historic buildings were amazing but the newer structures didn't follow the same feel. The campus is scattered without continuity.

Georgetown’s campus is in the tony Georgetown neighborhood. It is peaceful to walk the campus from which you can see the Potomac river. There are some beautiful stone buildings near the campus main gate. A stroll around is worthwhile especially when you consider many famous people walked this campus.

It is a highly rated private research university in Georgetown. It has panoramic views from across the Potomac River. It's a stunning iconic architecture building.

Hello how far is the campass from the Red Lion Hotel Arlington thank you

Washington DC, DC
It is a 32 minute walk, according to Google maps and as long or longer by bus. It is a very quick taxi ride, but you pay a premium from going over the bridge from Virginia to DC. If you want a really challenging walk, you can go across the bridge in Rosslyn, where your hotel is located and go up those steep steps that you can see in the movie the Exorcist, kind of an epic climb. Red Top cab also goes backward into Virginia and other Virginia taxi cmpanies might not come. Taxis are easy to find on Wisconsin Avenue and M St.
