Geocache....

Did a night trip to Einstein as my son and I were doing some virtual geocaching...great experience. Not big...but if you are in the area, take a peak!

I love this memorial; it is enigmatic, and quirky and amusing, as Einstein himself. I enjoy this whenever I come upon it, and it always makes me smile. Einstein was a master of the one-liners, and this is a good place to come for that.

It's a great place to take a family/group photos. Just be sure you know where it is. I drove by it a couple of times before I figured out how to get to it.

Although a bit out of the way make sure you see the memorial. Be sure to stand on the sun in the middle of the galaxy map in front of the memorial and face Albert's face and talk - you will hear an echo while nobody else will!

Although right off Constitution Ave and right across from the Vietnam Memorial this statue is often missed. And I like it for that fact and also because Einstein looks quite relax and content while perhaps in deep thoughts. Take five mns of your DC visit it is worth it. But be careful with parking your car cause it is the... More

They say doing so will impart some of his genius on those that pat his proboscis. He's a large sculpture that you pass frequently if touring the city. Interesting honor to the great genius.

This Memorial is astonishingly large and one that I have missed every visit to DC until this one! It was so much fun to visit and take a group pic with my Girl Scout Troop. And it is only minutes from the Vietnam Memorial and the mall!

Located just off the edge of the National Mall; there's a statue of Einstein that is HUGE. Worth a look if you're nearby, but not worth a special visit.

It's right next to the National Academy of Sciences building and visible from Constitution Ave. It's good for a nice short visit.
