Located in the trendy Georgetown area of DC. A huge selection of gourmet items from candies, pasta. Sauces, spices, baked goods, and prepared salads, and foods to takeout. There is also a large selection of wines and kitchen supplies and tools. Prices are very high. Example 1 lemon $1.75 or Tenderloin $44.00 a pound or cookies $5.00 a piece. The... More

After a morning of walking the streets of Georgetown we decided to sit down at D&D with some of their delicious salads. We had mushroom rice cake, crab cake and a mixed spinach salad all which were very good. Sat outside to eat it all, lots of tables and all very pleasant.

This is a micro version of NYC - but has all the best offerings. We had the white bean tuna salad and haricot vert for lunch, with a bag of taralli! Perfect. Coffee outside on two days - one sunny in the open air space, one rainy with the "garage doors" closed down. Equally enjoyable!

While looking for a quick breakfast stop while exploring Georgetown we came across this place. The name sounded familiar and the covered outside seating seemed a good idea so it was coffee with Cream cheese and bagels for two. All very nice and the most amazing deli when you go back inside. The name? NOW I remember. Steely Dan name... More

The Dean and Deluca brand should not disappoint and it didn't, even though here we are just talking about basic breakfast items: coffee was good quality, a cinnamon twist was just done right, and service on a long line was very fast and making it tolerable. You were allowed to salivate at all the food counters were scrumptious and well... More

Went for lunch due take advantage of outside seating. Good sandwiches (roast beef and ham and brie). Also bought cheese to take home. Lots of choices and able to taste before buying. Have some unusual selections, like white anchovies, for purchase.

Dean and Deluca is just a fun place to visit, if only to browse the refrigerated cases and the wine. But, if you're hungry ... This is the place to stop into when in Georgetown. Lots of delicious prepared foods and scrumptious desserts. Get it to take-away and enjoy your assembled lunch in the covered patio.

I have been here about 6 times now and have been pleased with every visit. I usually go for the made to order sandwiches and a dessert. The "Italian" is my go to as it has 3 or 4 meats stacked high with cheese beefsteak tomatoes and balsamic. Roast beef is tasty as well. Nice selection of wines and beer,... More
