My wife and I visited the George Mason Memorial while walking around the Tidal Basin. The memorial was well done even though it is currently undergoing renovations. The question we had: why is there a memorial to George Mason in Washington, D.C.? He was the...More

This is a small memorial located next to the better known Jefferson and FDR memorials. I would recommend taking the brief walk over in between seeing the other memorials.

Stopped at this memorial while walking back from the Jefferson Memorial to my car. There was a sign saying it is currently being renovated but you could still walk around the memorial. It was worth a look.
