My wife, son, his friend & I walked this beautiful park in DC just a few days ago. It is an older park that has seen better days, but according to the park ranger, "it is coming back". We are glad to have made the...More

Set in the Northwest, DC quadrant among apartment buildings, churches, embassies and offices, this park is a delightful refuge from the hectic life of a national capital city. Its grassy 12 acres provide a place to stretch out for a picnic, a lengthy conversation or...More

We had a picnic here for Easter. It is beautiful in the Spring. Lots going on: picnics, drum circle, frisbee, dodgeball, even people on a tightrope. Young fun environment.

The busiest weekend of the year was for the Cherry Blossom Festival so you would think this attraction would be operational however it was not. Instead all of the fountains and waterfall were dry and full of leaves. It's obvious it had not been run...More

We were looking for something to do at the end of a busy day of sightseeing. We wanted something close by, off the beaten path, charming, and decidedly local; Meridian Hill Park hit the spot. Wonderful water features from the 1930s abound in this almost...More

We went for the Sunday drum circle. What a unique DC experience! Everyone gathers and drums and dances or just people watch. Be warned.....lots of stairs to get to the top!

The location is very strategic overlokking the nearby area. One can be proud to be here as it encompasses the line we call the Meridian. Inside the building, we are enriched with astronomical facts and figures. School children can gain insights to this world of...More

Known as Malcolm X, this park is hard to get around in a stroller or bicycle. The National Park Service spent a lot of money renovating it and you couldn't tell the difference when they were done. It's a nice place to hang out on...More
