We have passed through this market during our tour today and it looks a local merchandise market for food and all related products with cheap prices

Wonderful slice of life in the city. Grab some unbelievably good chocolate milk from the organic dairy truck and then some croissants from one of several bakers and find a curb to sit on. It doesn’t get any better outside on a Sunday morning. Merchants...More

Fairly deserted on a very cold New Year's Eve morning, but the regulars were there. We tried the freshly baked scones (blueberry, apple pie and cheddar) and all were very good, and made from fellow traders' produce to boot. Everything is available, from fresh fruit...More

Sunday morning (it's open until 1:30 pm) is a wonderful experience to walk through fresh fruits and vegetables. It's a fun family outing to pick up food for the next week. Most of the venders are the same week to week, products are seasonable.

While visiting DC and staying at the Washington Hilton, we wandered on a Sunday morning toward the metro station, looking for breakfast. Believing we were out of options, we ducked into Starbucks. Two stale croissants and one block later, we happened upon this wonderful market....More

Sunday mornings. Get there at 8:30 am for the fresh produce. One vendor in particular sells a variety of organic veggies. Easy access from the DuPont red line metro. We will be back!

We finally made it to the DuPont Farmers Market. We were somewhat disappointed. The stalls were the same items over and over. Not a lot of variety. The farmers market in Manhattan has a wider variety with a lot more food and tastings.
