We did the Chief Joseph Highway whilst driving from Yellowstone to Cody. What an amazing drive it was, well worth the extra time it took by doing that route. There where many viewpoints to stop and take in the amazing views.

OMG...did this in a 23ft RV on a beautiful late afternoon. Notmany people on the road so we could comfortably pull off and see some great vistas. Make sure you have good brakes for the downhills and no tranny problems.

We are from Colorado and used to beautiful mountain scenery, but this drive was unbelievably beautiful. Miles of rolling green hills with mountains and rock formations, the views simply took my breath away.
