Just a short drive from Buffalo, Wyoming off from highway 16. Creek meanders through thausands of turns, then cuts it's way through and around many huge boulders towards the opening of this canyoun. Definitely worth the short drive to spend some time and relax.
Drove through Crazy Woman Canton today, absolutely gorgeous!! Would recommend anyone coming past to do the drive! Terrain is a bit rocky and had some slush and snow today, but no issues getting through
Take the time to meander through this canyon. The road can be bumpy but a high clearance vehicle will work just fine. The road is also narrow. Having said that, definitely check it out!! It's beautiful!!
First, this is a fabulous drive, do it if you can.
Previous reviews (and locals) provide (seemingly) conflicting information re: road conditions, perhaps related to which way you drive.

The road is a little rough at spots, but mostly not bad at all. Made the ride in a Hyundai Elantra and only had one spot that was a little tricky. Ride make you know how small we really are. Beautiful sites would do again...More
