The JCSM is a great spot to stop, relax, visit with friends and enjoy the art exhibits. The exhibit will typically take about 30 minutes to tour. We have especially enjoyed several evenings at the museum during the summer when they have a Thursday evening jazz band. The little restaurant in the museum serves some nice appetizers and drink specials.... More

When in Auburn we love to stop by this museum. It is not very large so we can get in and out before the children get tired. They have traveling exhibits come through to show new types of art. There is currently a video art display which a couple of pieces were mesmerizing, but most were odd.

Beautiful property and building. The front desk is very helpful and friendly. The actual galleries are fairly small and it's easy to see everything in a short amount of time. There is no set admission fee, however you can make a donation ($5 is suggested). Plenty of free parking on the Woodfield Drive side of the building. Parking directly in... More

There have been some great shows come to this museum, check their website for what is in town. There is also a really nice permanent collection with many nice Audobon prints.

The Jule Collins Smith Museum is the place for a relaxing stroll through the Gallery and then sit and ponder the beauty of it with a glass of your favorite wine and a tapas meal. If you plan well, there will even be live chamber music floating through the museum.

Visited to see the collection and they were having a kids art class. They let us join in. We learned some cool art techniques. Super fun.

We went for something to do on a rainy day. We stayed about 30 minutes. I would suggest a walk around the property to view the sculptures around the lake. The best part for me was seeing Chihuly glass.

I've been to the museum several times now and have always enjoyed their selection of artwork. The galleries are bright and cheerful with ample space for enjoying what you see. There are benches along the way for the weary if you need to rest. Children are welcome. The display of the artwork is professionally done, the captions informative and helpful,... More

This is a very nice museum. It's free with a request for donations. They have great pieces of art and some art that is on a tour/visit. So it stays fresh. There is a lake to walk around with outside sculptures. Do it, it's nice to look at art. It's peaceful!

Thank Toni W
