We had an exceptional time riding through the foothills of the Superstition Mountains! We opted for the two hour trip ($70 per person) as it was designed for people with little to no horseback riding experience. Jake was our tour guide. He was friendly, witty and knowledgeable. He definitely added to the experience. The Corral definitely encourages tipping the guide.... More

A group of four went here to ride horses. Our trail ride had to wait 45 minutes due to us not calling ahead. There is a small mining town right next door with a lot to see, which helped us pass the time. The ride was wonderful with great horses, beautiful views, and a fun tour guide. (I think his... More

The OK Corral Stables offers a ride to suit anyone (see their website)--including my 87-year old mother and her sister! We did the one hour ride and loved it. Hank, our ride leader, and the Feldman family, who run the stables, were amazingly kind and accommodating. It was a wonderful experience for us all. The trail was easy, the sights/scenery... More

first time riding for most of us (family of six). the horses behaved and are well trained. Tammy did a great job as our guide telling us all kids of things about the desert. the only reason i didn't give it a 5 star, it had rained earlier and two of us had wet saddles. They must have changed 4... More

Went to the "shoot out at the OK Corral." What a fun experience, well done period costumes, and good actors. The re-enactment was more than I expected - it included events that led up to the shoot out. The rest of the settings with dioramas, real period antiques and lots of friendly people in period costumes too.

Really loved our time at the OK Corral. Experienced, knowledgeable guide. Really extraordinary scenery. And you can tell the horses are well cared for. Definitely recommend it.

We had an excellent horseback riding experience at OK Corral in Apache Junction. Our guide, Denny, did an awesome job explaining how to handle the horses, the wildlife and plants in the desert, and took us a fun excursion. Would highly recommend it. Would go back for a longer ride next time.

really enjoyed our 1.5 hour trail ride. Our guide was delightful, very informative and knowlegable about the surrounding landscape and history. Quiet, calm horses all decked out in their shaggy winter coats. Saw a jack rabbit and other animal tracks.

Our tour guide Hank knew a lot about the Sonora desert and it's plants and animals. Views were absolutely beautiful and horses were kind. The stable also had a rock shop for those interested in geology and fossiles.
