Many of the rides here are exclusive to this park and won't be found at any other Disney property! The theme of each land or section is incredible. Especially Radiator Springs from the Cars movies! Sunset in that location is breathtaking!

I've lost count as to how many times I have been here. This particular visit though, I was confined to a wheelchair due to a new leg amputation. Access to all the rides was efficient. Had lunch at our favourite haunt, the Pacific Wharf cafe....More

I was dissapointed I could not even get a fast pass for certain rides. IT was very crowded and some wait times were over 180 minutes. Not fun with tired kids. Food was very expensive and limited options available. Aside from that, it was a...More

A contrast to Disneyland it is an adventure park that any age will enjoy. Plenty of space with well though out attractions done to the high standard for which Disney is renowned. Plenty of food options and the parades at both parks well worth taking...More

While it will never surpass the legacy of Disneyland, California Adventure has come a long way since its sluggish debut. The park, like Disneyland, is beautifully themed, depicting various scenery typical to California. The rides cater towards both children and thrillseekers. Make sure to not...More

This is a fun park for all ages. The Frozen stage show was great. There were things to do for the youngest to the oldest. Everyone loved soaring over the world.

We had a wonderful time here. A good range of rides for all ages. Fast passes are a great way to avoid huge lines but you can only get one at a time so you need to be a bit organised. Lots of spots to...More

We had a full fun day and actually got on plenty of rides. We did the lunch with Ariel and the other princesses which I would highly recommend.

We went to Disneyland on a Thursday and California Adventure on Friday. California Adventure was way less busy, rides were easier to get on, and it seemed to have more to do for families with very young children. If I could do it again I'd...More

It depends on how long you are staying and if this is your first time.I would not get a park hopper unless I would be staying more then 2 days. They do have fun rides for the little ones at California Adventure but because... More
family of 4(two adults, two 5 year olds), will be visiting Disneyland on Thursday May 18th. We will reach LA at midnight the night before after a 5 hour flight, I know we can't make it to park before 11am on Thursday. I already bought the tickets, but my question is what is best strategy to take rides around mid day knowing that the park is crowded. Moreover, is there any chance that we would be rejected at the gate considering park is full? Can you still get fast pass for rides later in the day?

It all depends on the ride you want to go on. But even if you go a little let you can still get fast passes in some of the rides. If you go a Thursday the chances being full are not the bad considering the weekend I wouldn't... More
How far is the nearest beach? Wondering if we go all the way to California if we can squeeze in a side trip to see the Pacific.

Whenever we go to Disneyland, we usually go to Huntington Beach. It is about 10-12 miles away and you can take one of the main drags all the way there with hardly any turns. On out last trip, we tried Newport Beach just to... More
