Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Went one early evening, and the line was over an hour long. It also wasn’t moving like other character lines. The cast members said they like to spend a little more time with the little ones. I don’t think this is a good idea when it is busy. Little ones just can’t wait that long!
So, we went at rope drop the next morning, and were first in line, but Anna wasn’t there yet.

Anna & Elsa’s Royal Welcome was a fun attraction and a great way to meet the characters from the movie Frozen. It is inside a large building in the Hollywood section of California Adventures. Unlike some character stations this one is fully enclosed in a very nice air conditioned building. The interior consists of a very large room that has multiple screens showing Disney movies.
Our wait wasn’t too long and it is fun to have the undivided attention of the characters. The only thing I don’t understand is the character availability. We went on a weekday in June. Anna was always available but Elsa and Olaf were only there at certain times of the day. I don’t see how limiting their availability benefits Disney but whatever. It was a fun experience and I appreciated the nice setting.

The staff in this shop are very friendly and the service for the hair and make up very good. At just under $40 for hair, nails and make up along with a few bits in a goody bag we thought that this was pretty good value of money.

We spent over $1000 for our family to go to Disneyland for one day so they could experience the "magic" and for our daughter to get to meet Anna and Elsa. We checked the app and found that Anna and Elsa would be there the entire day. When we went to go meet them, we were told that only Anna was available and that Elsa would not be in that day. How does Disney not have two or three Elsa's running around? At any rate, we were told to "check back" in an hour. We checked back and she was not available. We checked two hours later and were told that Elsa was done for the day---which was comical because she never showed up. My daughter was so sad. We had to tell her Elsa was sick.

100's and 1000's of people in the resort at any given time, yet somehow they make sure YOUR family enjoys YOUR moment just for you. It feels special, unique and personal. Well done Disney, you have it down to a science.

Lines empty slowly, but the girls were lovely, friendly and so gorgeous. While there try the animation lessons. They're great.

As short as the line was, it was still a very long wait. However, it was nice to meet with them on a more personal level and in the evening. They seemed nice enough, but didn't really smile or interact other than a hug and autograph signing (although they did smile for photos). I understand it's probably been a long day for them, so maybe the morning would have been better. The waiting area is really neat as it is indoors and they play Disney music along with photos from the movies on numerous screens around the room. We actually went to the Animation Academy and Turtle Talk with Crush before this which was awesome because those activities were fast, while this one was long.

We went to Disney Animation to cool down since it was so hot out. We noticed that there was no line to meet Anna and Elsa so we took that opportunity. Got pictures and autographs from the princesses! Lovely!
