This is a really unique spot to grab a bite to eat. It is not super-fancy, but the food is good and we go every time we are in the Arcata area. I went during the lunch rush and it was, indeed, a rush to order (kind of stressful). But, I really liked the BLT Bagel. I also love all... More

Just not a round bagel, it's slug shaped. This one had peanut butter, shredded carrots, green onions, black olives and jalapeno jelly. This was the best sandwich I ever had. I am much more adventurous in the sandwich department now because of that.

I went to school at HSU and we went to Los Bagels almost every day. A few bags of day-old raisins bagels were necessary on any climbing trip. The worst thing about Los Bagels was that they used to be closed on Tuesdays - looks like they have changed that :D

I've been going to Los Bagels since I was little and I've NEVER had a bad experience there. Even though the line is always long, they are very fast. I usually get a plain bagel with cream cheese and strawberry jam, toasted. And a Mexican hot chocolate is always good. The service is great and the workers are very nice.... More

There are moments when I actually consider driving the 5 hours up to Humboldt just so I can have a fresh slug with cream cheese, that's how good they are. Of the many delicious hometown options, this is the only stop I make without fail (and get a few bagels to take with me when it's time to leave.) Chango... More

the place to go if you are in Arcata or passing through. The best bagels and so much more. Yummy spreads, but lots of cultural icons and links to the rest of the world. Definitely not "just" a bagel shop!

Good place for quick breakfast, the staff has good service, the Chai is not very impressing, I often order a strawberry cream cheese bagel and i think the owner didn't get that right to me twice, little upset, cause I was in a rush and didn't have a result after i asked him with is which

Really more of a deli that is bagel-based. Great pastries, cookies, and other items. Can also buy great gifts - mugs, jams, hot chocolate mix, and local sauces. Warm sitting inside under the glassed in area, or on the front tables outside. Great day-old bags available if you get there early. Don't miss the murals over the parking lot. Also... More

Their slugs are my favorite followed closely by their challa bread. The menu options are vast, but I always find them a little too expensive for what you're getting.

Delicious coffee and bagels in a hip atmosphere with super-friendly barristas. This is a standard of the Eureka-Arcata Humboldt area, and a tourist must (along with Ramone's, Northtown Coffee Arcata, and Beachcomber in Trinidad if you're going cafe-hopping in the area...)
