The water was perfect, although very busy, plenty of room to spread out and enjoy a few hours. I would recommend it on a warm summer day.

We live in Cool, & are getting to know what is around us. We will go back with kayaks next time. We went to the lower, good for picnicking & playing in the water. The road was pretty primative & bumpy....once you got down it...More

A nice little lake nestled in the foothills.the only problems is the parking is not very good and there are a lot of sand flees on the beaches. Very pretty scenery great force day tip.

We like to kayak here. We like to start at lower lake and go up stream first however the wind on the way back can be a little challenging. Overall it's peaceful and gorgeous - a few beaches a long the way to stop and...More

This is a wonderful lake to get away to for its peace and serenity. I've never been there when its ever been a busy place.

Long narrow lake off the beaten path, and quieter than many local lakes. Lovely kayaking with plenty of steep wooded hills either side. Interestingly, no outtake - the flow just cascades over the spillway as the river flows.

Directions take you right to the entrance where the dam is located just a short walk down so if you're trying to actually hike don't follow the directions to the address listed here. The roads are RIDICULOUSLY narrow, actually quite scary especially with all the...More

We walked the trail from Hwy 49 to the lake. It is a wide path which was a former road. The trail is easy and has no obstacles. The scenery is beautiful and the walk follows the river all the way. At the lake side...More

Upper Lake Clementine is blissful. Although the road down is dusty and texious, you are rewarded by a very tranquil lake that is great for families.

We went kayaking with friends to Upper Clementine Lake- which is actually a dammed up river; hence the slight current. The road down was dirt and quite torn up. That was livable, but the incline should be a warning. We had a small manual drive...More
