I went on cruise with three stops at different ports in Mexico. I made diving arrangements for each of the port stops. I visited Huntington Beach, CA before the cruise, so I made a day trip out to Catalina Island. Of course, I had to make time to dive there as well. I’m reviewing all of these dive excursions on... We had such an interesting dive.  Chris was an amazing and very professional guide!  Ron and his staff know their stuff and eager to help.  We highly recommend this dive shop!  Can't wait to come again.

Ron and his team are the best! Even under the not so best conditions (Raining, windy, strong current, poor visibility), Chris made this a most memorable experience. We had a great time! These guys know what they are doing, they keep it professional, safe and fun all at the same time. Oh, and they are full service. We just pretty... More

This was the first time snorkeling for the rest of my family. However, I had never been to lover's cove. The snorkeling experience was fantastic. Lover's cove is amazing with sea life. I was a little surprised how close some of the boats come in and I definitely was a little nervous with a few of them. We were able... More

I wanted shore dives off Casino Point to see giant black sea bass. Divemaster Shawn found about 15 for me in two dives, and it was an awesome experience to see these huge fish looking back at me in the kelp bed. He was also helpful when I needed it in getting suited up and in the water.

My wife and I just finished our dive and we were very impressed. My wife had a terrible time on her previous (and first) California dive that she was very hesitant. Upon arriving to Catalina Island via the Catalina Express, it is a five minute walk to the dive shop. We were approached by Ron, who was delightful and fun.... More

My son and I along with a friend (Doug and his son) came down from Utah and dove with Ron for three days. The first day was a shore dive from the casino. The next two days were different locations from Two harbors area to Avalon. We saw a Bat Ray, Turtle, Sea Lion, many Lobsters and too many fish... More

Since we hadn't dived in more than a year, my boyfriend and I did a shore dive first. We were happily surprised by how warm the water was-72 degrees! We were also really surprised to see a green sea turtle as well as a very large bat ray. Our guide, Chance, was funny, competent, and kind. He showed us how... More

I visited Avalon with my husband on a weekend getaway. It was my first Scuba diving experience and it was Frank who made it come true. He is one of the best professionals i have come across. His mature skills and proficiency made our experience mind blowing. It was only because of Frank, his patience and support, I had such... More

The staff are friendly and helpful and want to make sure the guests have a great experience. We are experienced divers and when we were on a boat with people of all levels, the DM made sure to find spots that were suitable for everyone. Dive briefings are excellent. The DMs are so experienced and knowledgeable about the area that... More
