Anna Maria Vacations

Been vacationing on Anna Maria for the past 15 years. Not as quite as it use to be but still a fun place to stroll down the beaches.

We stayed on the island for 7 days but only learned about Bean Point on the last day. Its not easy to get to, since there is no parking. Take the Monkey Bus.

This is always a sweet, quiet beach to visit. The sand is fine and light, the water sparkling clean, and the wildlife an ongoing parade of seabirds, fish and water animals. Our favorite times at Bean Point have been at dusk. The sun sets into the water and the afterglow on the beach is often quiet magical!

This is one of the most beautiful beaches I've seen. The sand is white and fine. There is a panoramic view at the point with the Gulf of Mexico on one side and the extensive wide bay on the other. A huge expanse of sand and water.

Great shelling one day including sand dollar, large shells and two starfish which I threw back. Beautiful sunsets at night. Love it here.

We feel so fortunate to have discovered this treasure on Anna Maria Island. We make a habit of renting homes on or near Bean Point for one week at a time. You have 180 degrees of white sand beaches and crystal blue waters. I will admit that as the drop-off has eroded, I get nervous as sharks and larger sea... More

Beautiful, pristine beach with very few visitors. Off the beaten path, with very limited parking. Worth the effort to find. Must see while on the island.

Not the easiest beach to reach but so worth the effort. It is secluded rarely crowded & the views of both the eater where the bay & gulf meet along with the bridges to the mainland are awesome. The sand is pristine & dunes are beautiful. The trick is to find a place to park on one of the side... More

I can't believe how beautiful this is. Crashing waves, sand soft and white like flour and just out of this world stunning.

A great walking and shelling beach, never crowded and the perfect location to enjoy Tampa Bay and Gulf of Mexico. As a matter of fact, you can see where the two come together - a great visual of opposing forces of water. Look for it when you go.
