Beautiful place to GO SLOW

Anywhere with the motto, "Go slow" is my kind of place! It only takes a day or two to feel like a local. This is a great base camp for all things ocean!

We visit Caye Caulker every year to visit with friends and enjoy the beautiful Island and sea. We prefer Caye Caulker because it has remained quaint with no "New York Traffic" like San Pedro.

The motto of the island is Go Slow. Great base for a snorkel trip. I would suggest two to three days. It has everything you need for some water fun and a few nights out at the local bar. It small so after a few days you probably will want to move on.

Caye Caulker is a little piece of heaven on earth. Most laid back island ever!!!! Spent a week there with my best friend. We didn't want to leave. The people were so charming. We met so many people that we now call friends . I miss it already.

Would have had a much better rating if our burglary incident at Juan in a Million did not prevent us from enjoying the local sites.

My partner and I visited at the tail end of a trip up through Guatemala and Belize. It was the 'restful / holiday' part of the trip. The island is really sweet, no roads, just sand tracks and some bars / restaurants on the beach. There is a good mix of accommodation and plenty of supermarkets to grab day to... More

We came here for snorkelling, birds and local flavour but couldn't be more disappointed so far. Every direction you go there is building work. All noise and restriction of where you can go because builders are there. This is supposed to be an Island free of vehicles but the builders trucks are everywhere. Rubbish is also everywhere you look. I... More

We visited Caye Caulker in November and we absolutely loved this island. Amazing nature, amazing diving, lovable people and very chilled out atmosphere. A place where we spent a really beautiful time!

We visited here and were very happy with the Belizean ambiance on this island. It is not as commercialized as other islands in Belize. If you would like a relaxing visit, with loads of various water sports available, this is a great place for it.
