Decided to take the Caye Caulker day trip to swim with rays and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The rays are fun to interact with and the the boat trip was fun as well.

Who needs Mexico or anywhere in the Caribbean when Caye Caulker has it all! Great for a short vacation or a long stay. Love the people and love the place.... and the food was amazing too!

The island is a beautiful place, friendly locals, safe during the day and at night. Tons of good local foods and the prices are fair, missed out on lobster season but not next time can’t wait to bring the family back next time.

Beer and rum are your cheapest options... Belikin Beer is king, followed by Land Shark (which I didn’t care for) and Lighthouse... go to Amigos grocery and buy it by the case. About $1.25 a bottle US Dollars... with thee... More

Bugs are more prevalent on the Westside of the island. But I didn't find they were bad at all. I think they ramp up during the summer months.

Go to the websites for the 2 ferry services: San Pedro Express and Ocean Ferry. Then look up the schedules. For both companies it looks like the last boat from CC to San Pedro is 6:15pm.
