We stayed on Caye Calker for a week in November and had a great time. The island is small and quaint. There was construction going on because of Hurricane Erle that came through in August. This didn't bother us as we know what it takes to rebuild. If your looking for a place with white sand beaches this is not... More

I am a retired person and i have been traveling to the island for many years. This year I found the prices (from the taxis, to the restaurants, to the hotels) very pricey. If you add my flight ticket, it is no longer affordable.

That's the trick here. Go slow. Treat it like home don't go mad thinking no one is watching. They are. If They call them self street pharmacy, Don't but from them. Behave and you'll have a wicked time. Sports bar is the place to be most nights with lazy lizard being the daily hangout spot. Sip and Dip is much... More

Excellent vacation! I have had more time to relax and sunbathe than in any other vacation I've been on! The people are friendly and the food is amazing! Lots of day trips and vendors. I can't say enough good things about this island!

Best diving in Central America, fun and friendly people and some great eating and drinking options. Vista del Mar, Fran's grill, Errolyn's fry jacks, Lazy Lizard and Frenchie's Diving are my top recommendations.

Spent a week relaxing on this small island. Everyone is friendly. It seems very safe. Great tourist destination. Lots to do. Kids enjoying biking around. Great beaches. Great snorkeling. Cheap. We rented a kayak ($10 USD), a paddle board, went swimming, explored the mangrove swamps, fed tarpon from our canoe, shopped a bit, and explores the many restaurants. Also, I... More

Caye Caulker is a small coral island just a short boat ride from Belize City, and is ideal for taking short fun vacations. There are no motor cars here just sandy streets and walk ways, lots of small restaurants and many many bars. Very popular with the younger crowed, it is situated on the second longest Barrier Reef in the... More

Caye Caulker is a special place. It is relaxing, laid back, and very beautiful in most places on the island. We just returned from 2 weeks on the island and overall our experience was great. The food can be inexpensive to expensive depending on your taste and what you expect. The locals are a mix of expats, local islanders, mayan... More

Caye Caulker is a very laid back and fun island. Great little dining options and lots of great bbq choices. Makes you feel the island vibes. We visited while snorkeling to Hol Chan.
