Great place to cool off, and so many different pools, even if there are some folks didn't feel too busy (although there were only small vehicles when we were there, no tours). Was a great stop to cool off after visiting Caracol.

We didn't have a car so we hired a cab driver from San Ignacio for 70BZD ($35 USD) roundtrip – it was so worth it! It’s about 1.25 hours to the waterfall (paved and dirt roads). The waterfall is located within Mountain Pine Reserve and...More

To go there is a bumpy ride and you need own vehicle or off road motorbike as me. The waterfall turn off is not well marked. You have to follow the sign Blanconeux Lodge and latter you will find the sign waterfall. When you get...More

We went on a Sunday so it was busy (esp since it's a little out of the way). That said, we had a blast. Lots of small pools and mini-waterfalls, very refreshing and lots of different areas to hang out and splash around in. My...More

This is a pretty view and the hike is not bad, even for seniors. Be aware the rest room leaves a bit to be desired. But then it is all part of the over all experience.

It was a drive (and a half) to get there, the roads are bumpy, but the main problems was the lack of signposts - and this applies to all of belize- just makes you feel unsure. But was worth the drive. We were the only...More

We stopped by for a lovely little swim after walking the Caracol Mayan Ruins site. Cold pools with cascades. Be careful riding them because of the submerged rocks. My banged up knee was worth it though.

A spectacular cascade with many pools for swimming and wading. It can be busy on the weekends. Its accessibility is totally dependent on water levels. The entire cascade cannot be viewed from the top, but rather from a turnout by the road on the top...More
