This was an easy hike through the jungle followed by a more challenging hike/swim/climb through the caves. It was an incredible experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves adventure!

There is a reason for why the ATM Cave's reviews are so lopsidedly 5 stars - it's one of the most interesting and fun experiences to do in Belize. Guides are all well trained and ensured we had a terrific visit. If you are limited in time, this is the the not to miss.

Doing the ATM tour is a highlight for a Tour to Belize. The price is slightly high with around +- 100 US$, but every Cent worth. You will talk about it with your friends for a long time.

Take a trip into the Mayan underworld to see where the priest and citizens paid homage to their gods. You will hike, swim and crawl your way deep under the Mayan Mountains. Well worth the time, money and effort. Do it while yo still can!

First of all your guide makes a big impact on how much you enjoy the tour. We had a great guide and a fine tour. The tours are now done exclusively from canoe. If you read other reviews you will note they were able to hike the rock shelves inside the cave. Due to vandalism this is no longer allowed.... More

This was the best excursion I have been on. Loved the physicality of this trip. The cavern was amazing. I was awestruck by the beauty of the stalactites and stalagmites inside the cave that have taken millions of years to form. It's so much more interesting to see pottery from many years ago in their original locations, rather than in... More

This was a great experience, and well worth traveling inland for. Most people head for the cayes and this is a bit of the detour, but between this tour and exploring San Ignacio and some ruins close by, it was a highlight. We went with Carlos the Caveman, he and another guide that works for him took 8 of us... More

So I'm sure the tour and the cave was great as the rest of the reviews state... however, my review is based on the company itself that apparently has a monopoly on the tours in the ATM cave. My husband booked this tour well in advance (weeks, months). They take full payment prior to the tour which we paid and... More

I don't have much more to add then the previous reviews. It's absolutely amazing. While it is strenuous, if you are in decent physical shape, you shouldn't have a lot of problems. I read previous reviews and purchased diving pants. This turned out to be a great decision. It helped with the cold water as well as preventing scrapes from... More

Even if the number of people going to the cave is getting bigger and bigger (my 2nd time visiting it) despite a supposed to be (and should be) restriction of the number of visitor it is really a cool adventure to do. The new large muddy path along the river is less charming than the small train in the jungle... More
