Had lunch at this site after a morning Horseback ride from Mountain Equestrian tours. Nice place to take a swim and several places to jump off the waterfall. Nice relaxing area worth a drive to it. You will have to walk down/up a lot of stairs to get to it so take your time.

My family and I went in December. The water was clean, temperature was just right. The cliffs were an amusement for all to jump off. There are small, medium and large cliffs for all enthusiasts. The water is deep enough at the waterfall and the next swimming hole to enjoy a cannon ball or two. We all left feeling refreshed. There... More

This waterfall area is very much off the beaten track, but worth finding. If you are taking a tour of Caracol, it's easy to see on the return journey to San Ignacio. It's a bit of a climb down, but wooden steps have been built and although it's tricky, it's manageable. Going back up is slightly easier. The falls themselves... More

Nice long haul on dirt roads, but worth every bump. Nice cool water and deep pools, can jump 10, 20 30 and 50 feet into the water.

We enjoyed swimming under the big rock falls! We stayed at Blancaneaux Lodge and horseback rode to the falls.

This is for the experienced climber I would not write this for minimal exertion. The waterfall is breathtaking.

Beautiful. getting down is a bit of an ordeal! Some steps but mostly trail and rocks. being 60 and at best in fair shape I made it, but just barely! Younger folks run up and down! great site and very popular with locals!

It's a pretty long, bumpy ride to the entry point and then a fairly steep hike down to the falls. However, we managed it ably with 4 little kids (9. 7. 4 and 3). It's totally worth it, though. It feels so untouched. The falls are a fairly high and fall into a pool that is deep enough for divers... More
