I'm glad that I did the ATM cave with Carlos (the Caveman). The entire experience well exceeded my expectations (and I had high expectations for Carlos having read rave reviews on TA) Other reviewers already talked about how knowledgeable Carlos is, how great he takes...More

Amazing site, unique experience, memories for a lifetime. A MUST-SEE if in the Cayo district of Belize. I admit I was a little hesitant (you are, after all, hiking >1 hour up a river into a cave where you have to swim at sections and...More

ATM was one of the most amazing tours I've done over the years... it encompassed variety I look for, obviously with a price tag... Start with a jungle walk before entering the cave which is a wet and dry cave, you'll need to go in...More

ATM was a fun excursion for my husband and me. (My parents did it the next day and liked it fine. My mom did not enjoy the tight spaces.) It was unlike anything I've done before - walking through waist-high water, climbing up in a...More

We booked ATM with the “legendary” Carlos Panti. This guy turned out to be quite the joke. Belize guides aren’t exactly the most knowledgeable, honest or caring of sorts, and this guy was right up there. Though we clearly booked the tour for Carlos’ reputation,...More

Yes, this is a cold, dark, wet, sometimes scary cave, where you will be climbing over wet (often slippery, sometimes sharp) rocks, swimming in cool water, squeezing your body between narrow cracks, and staring at human remains, not to mention the 30-minute hike through the...More

Best organised activity I've done except the Inca Trail in Peru. Such a rush when you're climbing and swimming in the caves....be brave. It's not scary. Lots of artifacts to see. Water is a nice temp so you don't get cold. DO IT, YOU WON'T...More

... and I love the beach- but this was the highlight of our trip. The cave is a bit of a trek from Ambergis Caye where we were staying, but worth the trek and worth every penny. Swimming through the underground river with no light...More

They take you on an alternate route, so he'd miss some of the cave sites. Our guide said some people say they can swim because they don't want to miss out on stuff, thinking that it's not a serious requirement, but it is... More

Hire a taxi for the day. Meet at Teakettle the travel agency véhicule that you have previously booked and informed of your hour impératives. Could be possible to do. Good luck.
