Shabby-shiek might be a nice way of describing Banana Bank Ranch. The cabana rooms definitely give off that "jungle" ambiance, but no air conditioning or TVs. Showers get pretty hot, but don't expect much pressure. If you stay in the economy chalets, expect less. Always...More

The place has it all. Great accomodation in a classical style, tasty local food, pool, bar, little zoo, horse riding, river boating. We enjoyed all of the amenities during our short stay. The most important for us was that the place was just a few...More

I'm not a fan of horseback riding but in the jungle, I became a fan. When we were in Belize we used every form of transportation for pleasure and the horse completed that. It was a blast!

This is not your grandmother's pony ride! What fun! Solid well kept horses. Good guides. You see the jungle, gallop, ride in a creek, and take on some challenging trails.

The eco spot has great potential as the site itself is charming. The tour was just a boat ride, the boat was not clean, the tour guide was non-communicative and had nothing to offer about the scene. There was no safety gear provided even though...More
