If you are travelling with children visiting La Aurora Zoo its a great entertainement, it even has a penguins area (in tropical Central America). If you are not travelling with children and like zoo´s and nature, visit it. Its better to visit in weekdays.

This zoo is fantastic with a wide variety of normal zoo animals. However there are many places throughout the zoo that have little to no shade both for the visitors and the animals.
