Took my IDC Course with Nick Derutter and thoroughly enjoyed the class. The BICD staff was able to make the course fun and educational while putting me in a position to easily pass the I.E. exam. Incredibly thankful for all the time the staff put into helping myself and everyone else in the class!!!

I stayed here over Christmas 2016 for a week. The staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Their equipment is also in good shape, and they took me to a wide range of sites around the island. While I was there, I did some fun dives. I also completed two speciality courses (Night and Wreck). The lodging above the college... More

For those who want an unbelievable experience I highly suggest heading to the college of diving. The people there accept you into there family so easily. You truly have to put your lives in their hands and they will take care of you. If you have the opportunity to go I highly highly suggest it.

Three of us did our open water and it was an amazing experience. Super skilful staff and our instructors Sham and Bob made our course very interesting. Definitely recommend them.

Three generations came to Utila and learned to dive. Our instructor, Bob, was thorough and very patient with our group. Highly recommend BICD

I just want start of by saying that the staff here is just fantastic, they are so knowledgable welcoming and friendly. I came here with just my open water and have already done my advance and rescue diver with this shop. I had Bob for my refresher and he was just fantastic really made me feel comfortable in the water... More

Staff were very professional and welcoming but due to the lack of powerful boats, they rarely travel to the dive sites on the northern side of the island, which is supposed to have the better sites. They cant and won't guarantee it.

The College is such a wonderful place. I spent three months going from Open Water Scuba Diver to OWSI with 6 Specialties. The college offers great instructors, a wonderful atmosphere for learning, and fantastic facilities. Mat Wyte is the new manager at the College and is great about making sure everyone gets involved with the group and immediately feels like... More

The College of Diving is not just a well-run shop with several large, fast boats, on-site lodging and meals, welcoming and professional staff, large dining area with separate bar and huge dock. They offer fantastic fun dives, PADI standard courses, specialty training, an on-site hyperbaric chamber/medical facility, flexible scheduling, and an enthusiasm for adaptive diving. Personally, I arrived at the... More
