We love visiting the botanical gardens, especially in the spring when the flowers and trees are in bloom. The indoor gardens are lovely as well.

We love our time at the Bot. Gardens! There is always so much to see and do. My girls especially like hanging out around the amphitheater and getting up on the stage. I prefer the shaded trails though! They have great camps and classes for...More

Was attending a wedding and had a few hours that were free, so about a dozen of us went to the gardens on Saturday. We got there about 9:00 am and it was already 90 degrees., so we did short walks outside several times and...More

The gardens were interesting, and we enjoyed walking on the trail along the river, though the ground was squishy and the trail blocked by fallen trees in some places. The staff was working to clean up and repair the damage from a "small-tornado-like" storm that...More

The garden has trails for walking or running, great gardens both indoor and outdoor and is just a generally calm and relaxing spot.

This has amazing trails to run or walk on, with enough hills and long enough to make it a good walk or run, but also enough outlets to cut it short, back to the parking to, if you want.

All the gardens are beautiful and well kept. The staff is constantly changing the plants to ensure the best visual presentation. There are lots of classes and events at very reasonable cost. The 5 miles of trails are a big attraction.

Just rated one of the top Botanical Gardens in the country, this Athens gem is a must see if you are into flowers, tress, and great hiking trails along the river.

It's free to park and visit although they appreciate donations. I usually try to put a few dollars in the box by the entrance whenever we attend but its not required or expected.

There are a good number of paved trails that are, but there are more unpaved trails that are not. The paved trails to cover the majority of the actual gardens though while the unpaved trails are just nature trails.
