My daughter was married in this beautiful cathedral. It is a must see when visiting August. You will feel you stepping back in time as you enter the building.

I took the free self-guided tour. The center is a former church that was beautifully restored. The altars, stained glass windows and beautiful brick work are worth a visit. Also, downstairs is a gift store with local art as well as a small gallery with...More

This is truly a must see in Augusta. It was a threiving and active parish and school for over a 100 years but it has been decommissioned and now maintained as a cultural Center and they are doing a great job.

This was such a gem to find in Augusta. It was so much like the cathedrals of Italy that I visited 39 years ago. So beautiful and interesting. Glad it was saved from destruction.

We didn't go inside the church just wanted to see the stained glass windows which were beautiful.....took a quick look around the building and moved on; the church building is tall enough to see part of the stained glass as you drive over the bridge.
