We stayed at the Mauna Lani and during that week they promoted a small discount on their massages. Since we were pretty tired from our various hikes, we decided to pamper ourselves with a massage at the resort, knowing that even with the discount it's still quite expensive. The women's area was clean with some refreshments and snacks. The showers... More

This was a lovely experience! I did the Renewal Bath, Lomi Lomi Massage and the Kona Mocha Body Scrub. The renewal bath was outdoors, it was absolutely fabulous! It's 25 minutes of pure relaxation. Lomi Lomi massage was good, but in hindsight I would have got the deep tissue as I prefer a deeper massage. The highlight was the Kona... More

I had 5 hours to kill whiley hubby played golf. I arrived and went to the fitness center for a workout then to the lap pool where I had the place to myself. The I had the coconut milk tub outdoors, so incredible and then a lomi lomi massage with Shad. Amazing! Only reason I didn't give it a 5... More

Always a pleasure when you visit a spa as beautiful as this . Very knowledgeable staff ... As many years as I've been using Epicuren products I never knew the after bath lotion could be used on the face! Received quite a bit of information about the area and places to visit from my aesthetician . Would definitely visit again... More

I am a retired massage therapist and have worked in spas and also visited many top spas in the U.S. The Mauna Lani has always been a spa that has top ratings and I was excited to try it. I was really bummed about the facilities. They were old and outdated and I was not given a full tour or... More

My family and I stayed on the Mauna Lani over New Years. We frequent this particular property quite regularly (once every three or so years from age 5 on) so the hotel holds a special place in my heart. That being said, there has been a lot of updating in the last 20 years. When we went to visit the... More

Wife and I do the massage thing on trips and sometimes it is a bit disappointing...not this time! I had a deep tissue massage and wife had a shiatsu massage plus we both had facials (110 minute for her and 50 minute men's for me, my first). Wife said the facial was the best she has ever had and my... More

After a particularly tough work week, sore necks, and aching backs made us desire a relaxing spa day. Booking a service gives you access to the fitness center and pool/jacuzzi, which are very nice. We both booked a 50 minute Lomi Lomi massage. The facilities are nicely appointed, and the staff attentive. The massage itself was very nice, and felt... More

The Mauna Lani spa has retained all of its elegance...outdoor massages at no extra charge (ASK FOR NISA!); cold lavender scented washclothes for the steam room. Terrific outdoor showers. PAY THE EXTRA $$$s...absolutely head and above the Orchid's spa (B+) or Hilton Spa (C-).

The spa is nice - better than the average day spa, but not as great as you'd expect from a luxury resort spa. The massage itself was great, but the facilities were kind of lacking in amenities - not much of a lounge area, no coed area (we had a couples massage so it would've been nice to be able... More
