After exploring various beaches on Molokai we decided to have a full day at Dixie Maru. we brought lunch, snacks and a few beers and spent the day in absolute paradise. There were only 3 or 4 other couples there at any one time and...More

We visited Dixie Maru Beach on a Wednesday and a Friday during the last week in July. Instead of stopping at Dixie, we took the trail to the smaller beach just south. This smaller, more secluded beach probably has a name, but I don't know...More

Staying at the west end of Moloka'i, we were searching for a beach where we could swim (many of the west end beaches have rough surf) and found it here! It was a quick drive and easy to find using the directions from the visitmolokai.com...More

Limited parking with no facilities. The beach is in a sheltered cove and safe for swimming. God Bless.

Nice snorkeling along the northern edge of this calm water bay. Be careful around the rocky margins. Our friend slipped, got a deep gash on her leg & had to have stitches.

This is a nice little beach in a sheltered area that is safe for swimming. The sand isn't the nicest and the beach is a bit small.

Pretty, sheltered beach with deep fluffy sand. Short walk from the parking spot and a few picnic tables scattered under the trees. There were maybe 6 people there on a weekday with one person snorkeling. He looked like a strong swimmer and the water was...More

Hi, I'm traveling in on Jan. 24th and the ferry arrives at 9:15, I'm due to be at my destination by 2pm. I have those 4 or so hours. I would like to possibly go to DixieMaru beach, what would be the best way to get there?
