We found this park along the highway and pulled in to get a better view of the Chinaman's Hat! What a nice little park it is! Wish we'd have had more time to hang out there. We went to the shore and walked on the beach a bit, snapped some photos of the Chinaman's Hat, and met some nice locals... More

On our drive to the North Shore we stopped at Kualoa Park and were glad we did. Not many people are there since it is out of the way. Plenty of room to spread out and catch some sun. Chinaman's Hat was extremely interesting.

We were driving the circle around Oahu, and this park came up at the perfect time. We'd been in the car for a little while, and our daughter was ready to get out and stretch our legs and run around. It's a great little park with picnic benches, bathrooms and a big green space for running and stretching your legs.... More

While on our drive to the North Shore from Waikiki we made a quick stop at the Kualoa beach park. The views were stunning and made for some great pictures. We didn't get in the water here but the views of the mountains and islands were pretty amazing.

We chose to do this tour as my youngest favorite movies are Jurassic park and world. Before coming to Hawaii we looked into this and friends who had been to Hawaii recently were disappointed that they couldn't do this as it was booked out while they were in Hawaii. So we booked 3 weeks in advance. With the Aussie $... More

Anywhere else in the world this would be a drop-dead beautiful place to spend your time. Fantastic beach at the foot of gorgeous lush green mountains. On Oahu, this is just another nice regional park for locals. If you are looking for a nice beach, relative solitude and beautiful surroundings, then this is the place for you. If you need... More

If you like outdoor adventures, then this is a great place where you can do multiple activities - zip-lining, horse-riding, and ATV adventures (and private beach visit) - we chose the zip and dip combo and did the zip-lining in the morning and relax at a private beach - can be expensive but the experience was worth it (especially the... We stopped at this beach on our trek up to the North Shore. Parking was ample, however we thought the beach was dirty & poorly maintained. There was also a small shanty community set up on the East side of the park as well. You can safely skip this beach, your not missing anything.

This is a very nice park, near the Kualoa Ranch. It is away from the crowds of Waikiki beach & Honolulu.
