Great kayak out to the island, especially for those of us who were inexperienced. We attempted to climb to the top of the island but it was very steep and only half of us made it (thongs do not make good climbing footwear!). Great views!
The drive from the east to north shore is scenic and china man's hat does not disappoint as a backdrop for your selfies. It is too far to swim to but makes for a great picture while you drive up to Sunset beach in the...More
I went to Chinaman's Hat with some friends who were all feeling quite as adventurous as I was, and we can all tell you that everything we did in and around Mokoli'i (Chinaman's Hat) was abolutely fun and exciting. We rented out kayaks from Kailua...More
Easily seen from the highway and there is Avery nice park attached. Plenty of free parking.
Sunny day is best for pictures but always nice to take in great scenery.
The mountains across the highway are neat too.
Definitely worth a stop.
