I have been a season pass holder here for 7 years. I love it because there isn't a huge crowd and the snow seems to be good always. This year has been perfect but even in years where there hasn't been as much snow, it has still been great. Good powder, ver often and good grooming. The staff is super... More

New triple chair lift serving up great snow! Pomerelle always seems to have the best snow around! While it may be clear in the valley below--the mountain is getting great snow! A fun time night skiing! Our only issue is now where to really stow your gear bags etc in the lodge and the lodge gets very tight space wise.... More

Nice little resort. There are only two lifts total. The black runs at the resort are only a blue compared to most places like Alta, Sun Valley or Jackson Hole. It's a good value. There are not a lot of amenities at this resort. If your looking for a small resort out of the way with great views this is... More

I live in the Magic Valley, and Pomerelle is just over an hour drive from my home, so my family tends to ski there on weekends. The resort is very family friendly, with plenty of green runs and a bunny hill. There is not nearly as many advanced runs. The lifts are a very slow, so if its sub-zero temperatures,... More

A ski resort like I've never seen(and I've been to dozens across 3 continents) Lots of snow, no mistake about that, but extremely variable depending on where you are on the mountain. Windy and drifty, steep and deep, trees and ice, open and fast, forest and powder, it's got everything. It's not near anything though, a mountain in the middle... More

Pomerelle almost always has more snow than about anywhere else in the Rockies. while the resort has night skiing, don't expect to spend the night here, as the closest accommodations are in the town of Albion. The wind can be a bit strong up on the ridge, but the variety and condition of the runs make this a great place... More

If you want a no frills day of skiing this is a good option. Lots of trails but minimal signage. The large map at the lodge helps. Mostly greens and blues. The slopes were a little icy. The lodge is merely a warm spot. No fresh or healthy food options (everything came from a package), and many people came with... More

I have skied on this hill several times with friends and family. Although it doesn't have any sections of the hill that are particularly challenging, it's a nice hill for families and friends who are not advanced/expert skiers. The hill is groomed to the max and the employees are very well mannered and polite including both the lift attendants and... More

This mountain ski area is the exception rather than the rule! The base lodge sits at 8000 feet altitude while the top of the mountain is at 9000 feet. Even on very warm spring days the easy slopes were fun to ski. It is still one of those very small resorts where skiing is only $39 a day for a... More

Pomerelle is a small (two lift) family operation that really has a lot to offer. First of all, the snow quality is outstanding -- lots of snow and usually powdery soft. The Ski School is family friendly and one of the best in the business with enthusiastic instructors who have the same certification as those at major resorts like Sun... More
