We've visited many times from Western Washington. I love Silverwood! It's less expensive and more real than Disneyland. But during our last visit I was disappointed. It seemed like 14 year olds ran all the rides, which is fine but they were so slow and...More

Things started off rough. I had checked four times with resort staff to determine the many rules. At the gate I was nearly turned away anyway but others were quick to apologize for him and to make things right. I then asked other staff if...More

Great theme park! Very clean, lots of green space and shade. Very reasonably priced food. We spend the day on the rides, go to the water park for the last couple hours, then back to the rides till it closes. We had the All you...More

This place has really expanded over the past 10-15 years. It rivals any large theme park I have been to. We were here with young grandchildren (the youngest too small for several rides) so we had to be careful about which areas to frequent. We...More

We arrived pretty much at opening and I'd say around half the rides were not even open yet. By the time we navigated to where we needed and were ready to start riding I'd say they were open for at least 30 minutes or so....More

Like anything, there were both good and bad aspects to our trip. I'll try to summarize below. The good.. The park is large, with access to both the water park and theme park for one ticket price. So there are lots of choices available for...More

First and foremost - we had a lot of fun there over 2 days (we bought the 2-day passes). It was a little cool on our first day at the park, so we only spent a couple of hours at the water park and the...More

Sorry, I've never done Scarywood so I don't know. However, I would agree with Lucy Q - your 12 year old will probably be fine but not sure about your 7 year old. Depends on your kids, too.
