The location of this church, on a hill towering of Algiers, makes it really stand out. It’s actually quite a small building but nevertheless, a beautiful one, both inside and out. If you want to visit the cathedral, you can't visit it "just along the way". The cathedral is away from most of Algiers attractions and you must specifically go there for it. But if you make the effort, you'll be rewarded with a great view of the city and the cathedral itself, at least on the outside is no slouch, either. Inside, it's much less so and you can't take pictures of the interior any closer to the altar than from the entrance gate. Just the same, if you have time, you rpoabbaly won't be disappointed.…

The best bit is the outside and the view. The inside is relatively simple. Visiters should be aware that there is a dress code to enter and the cathedral is only open at certain times.
