The promenade was safe and clean. It was nice to walk along the beach on the promenade. The only criticism is that you do have street sellers approaching you often but they are not pushy.

Lovely walk between the Royal Palace and the Marina, fantastic sea views, plenty of resting places however as usual you have to play "dodge the hawker", but hey- everyone has to make a living, a smile and no thank you is normally enough

Our hotel backed straight onto the prom, love this walk it goes on for miles and gets very busy with everybody with it being flat it is perfect for wheelchair users . It comes alive in the evening with people selling popcorn and drinks and you can hire electric scooters or bikes which are very cheap 20dh for 1hr (2... More

Wide expanse to walk but also used by electric scooters and cyclists. Lots of families with children who can hire battery operated or pedal cars. Sellers will approach to sell their wares but a 'no thankyou' is enough for them not to hassle you - unless you ask prices, etc! Water sellers with bells are very colourful, tourists pay to... More

Very safe and family friendly. Everyone is relaxed and friendly and there are lots of restaurants and cafes to sit down in and appreciate the views.

Security was excellent along the front with regular patrols by police and army, although you just felt safe, A good walk to the port with plenty to stop and look at and have a drink at very reasonable rates at the coffee bars

A long promenade which is well maintained. Provides and excellent walkway to get exercise passing hotels and restaurants. There are some street traders but we found them all polite and not too pushy and a polite no thanks was enough to make them give up their sales effort! seemed safe and well policed.

The promenade is lovely and clean, and beautiful to walk on all the way into Agadir and the to marina. The street sellers are all polite and give you no hassel.

Every Sunday at the promenade they have a fun public aerobic class. Events such as marathons, concerts and CrossFit competition is held right there at the promenade. Plenty of eateries for reasonable prices. It is well maintained and kept clean. The promenade is about 8km long so plenty of running by the beach and specially nice in the morning. Agadir... More
