The beach - and I mean from the surf point down to the sand, is a sectiony wave, easy to paddle into and easy to get in and out - a simple rock hop. The local town is a bit squalid - i could only last a few days here and had to return to agadir. Local restaurants are below... More

The place close to agadir offers lots of surf schools and surf shops... after riding the waves check the restaurant on the "corner" for a perfect sunset

Recently toured Morocco although there are some beautiful places there can be some not so beautiful places also. Saw quite a few places in Morocco and Taghazout was a nice place to stay. The beach is amazing clean and has a good surf with beautiful sunsets. The town is small and quiet but with enough shops and restaurants. There are... More

Taghazout is a small town that is popular with the surfer crowd, but I don't see where the waves are all that impressive. There is, however, a number of "surfing schools" that will teach you how to surf on the relatively tame waves the beach does have (I live in California, so I'm used to MUCH bigger waves). The beach... More

I ride through this beach at the start of an extreme quad biking day and so glad I didn't visit sooner just for pleasure. Lots of surfers who are great to watch but it was covered in litter - COVERED!!! It was quite upsetting to see actually because it would have been lovely little beach otherwise. I suspected surfing tourists... More

Main beach for the surfing resort of Taghazout is small and not always very pretty (used as a working fishing market) - my advice would be if you want to sunbathe, wander a mile up the coast to Taghazout bay where the clean sands and prettier views will be far more appealing.

We travelled to Taghazout for the surf, although it was average the beach and the water was great. The water is not cold and the main swimming beach is a safe place to swim for children and adults. The small town has limited supplies , if you want alcohol bring your own , there is no ATM or banks so... More

Unspoilt beaches, we travelled here in September and it was just perfect, quiet, relaxed and really friendly place. The water was clean and a nice blend of places to surf and places to lounge about in the sea. Its in my top 3, I will be back.
