The major problem was that people kept telling you that the street you wanted to go along was closed, or they tried to point you in a wrong direction to where you were going. The idea was obviously that they thereafter could ask for money...More

We were lucky to have a guided tour through the fes medina which in the end I was very happy about! The medina is incredible but also very much a large maze with winding alleyways and dead ends. It's not as overwhelming as the Marrakesh...More

Do not attempt to wander the medina without a local guide. There are some aggressive folks around. Please book a trustworthy guide so you can be safe and enjoy the nice things that Fes has to offer.

A mesmerizing city indeed. I am speechless to describe its beauty, but i am sure that every visitor will have a good stay in it.

You have to negotiate though it's worth, you find beautiful stuffs here! Especially the babushes are best in Fes.
