Interesting place before entry or exit old medina. We use this place as meeting point after visit of some part of medina.

Worth the walk through the Souk to the gate though, some cool restaurants inside the gate - including the Clock Cafe - that has evening events, such as storytelling.

Perfect to start our day. It is the square where you would see one of the main entrances of the Medina.

I would not qualify this visit as being mandatory. I know this city because I visit it oftenly and this square is not on my top 10 visits.

Just inside the Blue Gate (which is green from the back) a lively area with easy access to the Tala'a Seghira (more touristy + clothes, books, and curiously, gravestones) and the Tala'a Kbira (more of a food market). Lots of affordable restaurants off the square...More

There is a lot to see but by the time you are there everything starts to look like you have seen it before. Worth seeing but not worth a lot of your time.
