We had a lovely day learning about spices and Moroccan food. We were picked up by Michel and had a chat about the culture and politics of Morocco on the way to the cooking school. It is very well set up and thought out, from the spice identification to the bread making and the tagine process. Thank you for a... More

We booked a cooking class at the Faim d'Epices cooking facilities and it was awesome. During the full day we went through multiple cooking exercises, techniques and blind test of species. The day was awesome, and with the staff being very helpfull, energetic and welcoming this place is a must do activity while visiting Marrakech!

We had a fantastic day from start to finish. We were picked up promptly from our hotel by Michel who was great to talk to and brought to the farmhouse located 20 minutes from Marrakesh. We learned how to prepare coucous with 7 vegetables, Moroccan flatbreads, 2 salads and Moroccan pancakes. The day was broken up by blind sniff testing... More

Let me tell you this was the highlight of our trip!!! My husband and I along with the couple we were traveling with took this class. It far surpassed what any of us expected. Michele and Ilhame were the perfect host and hostess. They spent so much time teaching us about the culture and the food was awesome. I highly... More

It was actually more than just nice to see that I was recognized at Faim d´Espices one year after I attended the first course. I subscribed again when visiting Morocco not only to refresh my capricious memory (alas!) but also to escape the turmoil of Marrakech and let my senses enjoy the smells and tastes of Moroccan cuisine. And it... More

I was in Marrakech over New Year's and we spent a lovely day at Faim d'Epices. The hotel pickup made it convenient and Michel and the team were great. We learned how to make the perfect tagine, traditional quick bread and a bevy of salads Which we enjoyed in the garden at the end. Would highly recommend.

We visited here on a Friday for the couscous preparation. I am SO glad we did. I will never cook couscous any other way other than how Ilham has taught me. What amazing hosts both Ilham and Michel were. From being picked up to when we were dropped off, a truly amazing experience. I learnt more about Moroccan cuisine in... More

Chose to attend this class because of its reviews on Tripadvisor and it did not disappoint..it actually exceeded all expectations! Such a great day spent learning about Moroccan cuisines, spices and flavours. Michel was very entertaining throughout the day and the tutor (sorry, I can't remember her name!) was just the best! Great location too, surrounded by lemon and mandarin... More
