Wow! What a unique, traditional experience. The Hammam at La Maison Arabe is a relaxing Oasis. This was my first time experiencing a traditional Hammam and I left feeling clean, relaxed, and yes, scrubbed! After an hour Hammam treatment, we finished with a great massage and left feeling energized and ready for the rest of our trip. This is a must if visiting.

Doused and scrubbed and washed and coated and rinsed and steamed before a wonderfully gentle toe to head massage…..deeply cleansing and relaxing

I can’t comment on other spa experiences in Marrakech but I don’t think you could ask for much better.

Prices £50-80 roughly depending on length of experience. Longer = slower and more intervals to relax and de-stress.

My husband and I shared the traditional hammam followed by massage. It was an extraordinary experience. The setting is beautiful, elegant and serene. We shared a 2 person steam room with 2 personal attendants for the hammam which included gentle manual exfoliation, body and hair wash, and a number of facial and body masks. Then separate rooms for massage with argannoil. It was very restorative and our skin glowed afterwards. I had suffered two weeks of back pain prior which completely disappeared. It was one of the highlights of our trip.

An excellent and authentic experience in the Medina. This facility has amazing staff members that takes care of your health needs in every way. After a trek in the mountains or a long day in the souk, a clean-up at this hammam and a massage is very much in order. Don't hesitate to ask for 'Soukaina', her massage is fantastic.

Myself and my sister had a fantastic stay at La Maision Arabe. The hotel, the delicious food and the AMAZING staff - simply marvellous! We can not wait to return. Very, very deserving of their 5 stars. Thank you for such a memorable stay. You made our trip.

We had our first hammam experience at La Maison Arabe, and it was wonderful! We left feeling refreshed and relaxed. My teenage sons even enjoyed their own version. Highly recommend.

My friend and I had a Forfait Beldi yesterday and the least I can say is it was SURREAL. You really feel teleported somewhere holistic and heavenly! The massage session was EXCEPTIONAL, the massage therapists were extremely skilled and professional. Adding to that, Ilham the manager of the SPA was absolutely amazing and attentive. I am definitely going back again! Thank you La Maison Arabe <3

We stop by here for their Hammam. We greatly recommend it. Great customer care & services. It is a bit loud in the spa but not unbearable. Every one was very attentive & cordial. Then we proceeded to go and have a light lunch & drinks at the courtyard & it was lovely. The staff was very inviting & friendly. The food was delicious, my favorite so far. True & rich Moroccan flavors. Definitely give it a try of not staying here..

After days filled with sightseeing, we relished going back to our haven in the city for pampering and relaxation. Our first full day was completed with a hammam package for the evening. Even though we have visited other Arabic countries, our appointment in the hotel’s Espace Bien-etre was our first hammam experience. This is clearly a high-end facility, located in the basement (as apparently all hammams are), deliberately sparingly lit and of exact temperatures in each space for the specific treatment being provided. We chose a couple’s Marhaba Session – hammam, black soap body scrub, ghassoul body mask and relaxing 30 min massage.

The entire process was explained when we first arrived so that there would be no surprises. From what I have heard of traditional hammams, this one was more gentle than the way they would treat locals, for which I was grateful! The heat of the sluicing room slowly increased as we acclimated, which prevented that slightly suffocating effect you get when you first walk into a steam room. The scrubbing was vigorous, but not as rough as what I had expected. The body mask was quickly and thoroughly applied (just keep mouth and eyes shut – which goes for all moments when being completely drenched with water).

Would definitely visit again and try other packages and treatments.
