This medresseh, built in the Fourteenth Century, is the biggest medresseh in Morocco. It was open for education until recently. The mosaic ornaments and the stained glasses are worth to be seen.

DON’T TRY TO FIND THIS! It’s deep in the souk so you’ll be going around alleys, probably get lost (even google maps wasn’t much help), finally ask for directions and get some young man stuck to you, promising beautiful things just around the corner -...More

We walked round and round the lanes of medina looking for the mosque and could not locate it. There is a signage but obscured by some tarpaulins and hence could not even catch a glimpse of the place.

Short visit to the Madrasa doesn't go amiss. The mosaic detail is really pretty and so if you are into Moorish architecture definitely a place to visit.

This is well worth a visit. The huge courtyard contains all the traditional Arabic elements of detailed plasterwork, intricately carved wood, tiling and marble. Upstairs there are lots of little cells where students used to study. It’s huge and spectacular but also serene and calm....More

Having major renovation, locals told us for up to two years although there was no signage to indicate this-not much to see from the outside sadly, very busy area for through traffic
