Reda was such a friendly guide and made the daunting experience of the souks extremely comfortable. I would recommend the tour for all foreign tourists going to Marrakesh.

This is a very late review-we visited in December 2016 and booked a half day tour of the soucks with Said. Said was the perfect tour guide. He asked us at the beginning what we wanted to get out of the tour, and although we had booked a tour of the soucks, we were also very interested in the history of Marrakech, and so Said talked to us about the history whilst taking us to different places in the city. The tour encompassed the soucks, going to a local bakery and a pharmacy where we got to speak to some of the people who worked there which was very interesting. We also visited the Ben Youssef school, and Said took us through the history here as well. He was very friendly and laid back which made for a fantastic day. We asked a lot of questions which he was only to happy to answer. He also showed us some great and cheap places to eat. Can not recommend Said as a guide enough! Thank you Said!

Our group of 4 spent a whole day with Said and it was a great experience. Said's background as a teacher really comes through in that it's not just a show and tell, paint by numbers kind of experience. You get a thorough history lesson, I didn't realize it at the time but I started to appreciate my experiences in Marrakech even more. Understanding the past has a way of making you appreciate the present. Said was extremely flexible with our requests and how the mood of the group was going.

I didn't read the description properly but we had to rent our own driver, so make sure if you want to be driven around make sure you set that up too. We all had a great experience and definitely recommend Said.

Our visit to Marrakesh would have been only half the experience if not for Said. He is a wealth of knowledge and shares it in a way that makes you understand and want to know more. We would never have been able to find the real treasures without him and even if we had, we wouldn't have understood their significance. We saw the usual attractions but his explanations of the architecture and use of design and materials really painted the picture in our minds. His tour of the artisans section of the souks was amazing! From the communal bread oven to the authentic lunch, the traditional pharmacy and a shop where they create stunning works in metal, it was fascinating from start to finish. He is a lovely man, kind and patient. Thanks for the memories, Said!

Couple of weeks back , me , my wife and my 3 year old son did a full day Marrakech tour with Said. He was friendly, informative, considerate and all of us had a fun day out. One day is not enough to absorb the rich culture of Marrakech but Said was very prompt to give us the historical relevance of all the placed we visited and also answered all our questions. He had second to none knowledge of the local culture and came across as one of the most popular guys around as he had lot of people coming up to him and greeting him. His choice of restaurants and local shops were spot on and i can without a shadow of doubt recommend Said to anyone who plans to visit Marrakech.

I did a full day tour with Said two weeks ago. I have to say that I was very pleased with the entire experiences and would highly recommend him.

My tour began with a conversation after my booking. He inquired about the type of things I wanted to do and helped tailor a program for me. I explicitly stated that I did not want to see the souks and was more interested in the historical and cultural aspects of the city. I appreciate that Said listened and made sure that I would see the highlights I requested. Said also convinced me that even it was culturally important to see how good were made in the city, but assured me that he would quickly usher me by any stores, right to the places that made good so I could observe the process. So glad he did, because that ended up being one of the highlights of the visit. Seeing the techniques and products that have been made in a similar way for hundreds of years was fascinating (very rare to see in U.S.). Another highlight of the trip is that I got to ask a ton of questions. It's one thing to see a mosque, but another to have someone explain why they are built a certain way, and then answer all the follow-up questions you have. I have a curious mind and Said indulged that!

Key Points below:
1) Incredible knowledge of history of Marrakech / Morocco and its people (Berbers and Arabs)
2) Ability to tailor tour to my specific requests/interests
3) Flexiblity to change the tour when I decided that I wanted to deep-dive into a specific topic
4) Native level fluency in English (I am from U.S.)
5) Said is an all-around nice guy!

My son and I did a half day tour with Said yesterday afternoon. I cannot say enough good things about him. He is so knowledgeable about Marrakech and the country, historically and culturally. He's patient and thorough in his explanations. We never would have been able to navigate deep into the souks without him. We went to shops of excellent quality and he was helpful in advising me on negotiations or negotiating on my behalf. I would highly recommend Said's services while in Marrakech!

How can one possibly scratch the surface of a culture in under 24 hours? While spending a single, full day in Marrakech seemed a little bit crazy - our time was absolutely made the most of, thanks to Said. His knowledge of the city and its history is impressive (not to mention the entire country's!). He shares information in a very thorough way as you rove about the narrow streets, tasting dates and nuts from dried fruit stalls, as cats meow and motorbikes narrowly miss you in the streets. Said gives newcomers an immersive experience, describing a variety of daily life in Marrakech. He described the colorful history of ancient kings and rulers, educating us about Islam's pillars and culture as we toured palaces and religious schools. Without his help, we also would never have felt so safe or confident to wander into the depths of the souks or through less populous and colorful alleyways. Don't miss out on the wonderful chance to learn from a Said, a very smart, generous, and kind guide.

Since our family only had a day in Marrakech, we decided to book a full day tour with Said based on other great reviews. We couldn’t have been happier. He is kind and generous and his English is fantastic. Not only is he a scholar in Moroccan history and culture, he went above and beyond to make the day fun for the whole family and tailor the tour to our group. We really appreciated the extra attention he gave to the kids, and the many ways he made the tour interactive and special for them by giving them opportunities to experience the many tastes, smells and crafts of Marrakech. He introduced us to people he knew and took us to a great restaurant, bakery, and perfumery, as well as the Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, Jewish quarter, artisans, souks and historical sites in the Medina. Even the kids (ages 11, 13) said “this was the best tour ever!" If you want to experience the richness of the history and culture of Marrakech, Said is awesome and highly recommended.

Said took us on a very nice and informative tour around Marrakech. Said is very kind an gentle, and he is very well informed about the history of Morocco and its multi-ethnic, multicultural society. He is well educated and speaks English very well. Said knows a lot of people in Marrakech, so he was able to show us places that you would otherwise not be able to see or know. Really nice guy, and a very pleasant day touring the city!
