This is a review about the agency, NOT about the tour.

The difference is important, because the same tour is shared by up to 17 people who bought it from different agencies or brokers (well, anyone in Morocco is...).

The difference between a good agency and a bad one is mainly in accommodation and when situations happen. They choose drivers and accommodations.

About drivers, both of our drivers (we had a 4 days 3 nights tour from Marrakech to Merzouga, so the return driver was not the same of the outbound one) were very kind and helpful. Five stars to them. I speak some French, but their English would have been enough for communication, too.

Then the hotels.
On first night, our group of 17 has been shattered among 3 different hotels. On the morning, we compared. Ours (only the two of us have been there, without paying any supplement) came out to be the best - comfortable room with aircon, warm, while others literally got frozen, and good meals.

Our camp night was fine as it could have been (private tent with bed - not typical or exotic but better than staying on cold sand, while outside is minus three!), and dinner was repetitive but good.

Third night, they chose a good place in front of the desert, best dinner, and comfortable warm room (again, others have not been so lucky).

Then, the situation.
I had temperature first (I did not tell), then car sickness, and Khaoula, the girl of the agency, helped with car sickness, so insisted with the driver to give us two good seats on the front.

She wrote everyday for asking how it was going and if I was in need of anything, and it is a plus that is priceless.

About money, we paid a very reasonable price. If you care of the penny, you may save 10 or 15 euros for the same tour at a less scrupulous agent or broker (can find at hostels, hotel, virtually anywhere) but you may have much worse lodgings, and especially you will be probably left alone if there is a problem. Other agencies and brokers ask more than them. It is a highly competitive market... Honestly, especially in high season, I would have paid even a consistent premium. But their price is really fair, I do not use the word "low" because it looks depreciating their professionalism. A plus is paying all by card on line, in euros (I have Euro credit card, and if we had to pick Dirhams and so on it would have been bothering).

Thank you, Khaoula!

You should be aware it is a very long drive. There will be some nice sceneries, I especially liked Atlas mountains and numerous pink/red villages on hills, give you some romantic feelings. Ait Ben Haddou and a town at the edge of Sahara were lovely places to visit. Other places we passed were just a short stop to take a picture and hurrying to continue the drive which I didn't like. Merzouga, the dunes, the camel ride before the sunset and at sunrise were the highlights of the trip and enjoyable. If you visit the desert during winter, you should be aware of a huge temperature differences between day and night. For camping in the desert you need very warm layered clothes. The 3rd day, from morning till evening, was only driving back from Merzouga to Marrakech, there was a stop for lunch. Places where we stoped and were taken for lunch every day were much more expensive then restaurants you find in Marrakech or Fes for example.

We totally loved it! Since the beginning Miss Khaoula reached us to arrange the pickup time and kept monitoring our trip until the end. The driver from the airport was already waiting for us and took us all the way to the riad. During the trip itself both the drivers were really polite and helpful. The one who drove us to Fes was already waiting for us after breakfast. The hotel in Dades and the camp at the desert are really beautiful and clean. The dinner was great! We upgraded in both and it was worth it. The camel guides were super nice and they stopped in really nice places to watch the sunset, take pictures and even try sand boarding. In addition, at night they were making a fire and playing music. They even taught us how to play the drums and some songs. The only thing I would have liked is to spend more time in Ifrane and Ouarzazate but overall it was amazing. I would totally take another tour with them!

We had a really good experience during the desert trip from Marrakech to Fes.
The free transfer from the airport to the riad in Marrakech was certainly a plus.
Igo kept in touch with us on whatsapp and the pickups and drives went fluently. Our driver (Adil) was very friendly and correct and drove us safely around the country. Every day, there were enough stops, some longer ones with real visits, other ones to take some pictures from the beautiful landscapes.
The first night stay in the berber hotel did not entirely line up with the quality of the visits, however, acceptable in this price range. Dinner was okay, so was the breakfast, though in a rather cold dinner room.
The second day, we visited a berber village and were surprised by the friendlyness and hospitality, we never felt obliged to buy something.
The camel ride was very nice, the guides were the funniest and we got a moment to enjoy the beautiful sunset. After arrival at the desert tent camp, we were a little disappointed though. As in the hotel the night before, we paid for an upgrade of the tent to sleep privately. However, even if you didn't pay this fee you also got a private tent (there was no such thing as a group tent). We felt a bit scammed, since the tent was a big dissapointment (we slept on a (rock hard) matress covered in plastic, there was a 1 person sheet on a 2 person matress, no pillow covers and some nasty blankets) and we paid an additional 20 euros on top of it, just to sleep separately. When igo checked up on us and we told them, they totally ignored this argument, that's why we give 3 stars. The food at the desert camp was good however and there was a bonfire and some djembee playing, which was a very nice experience under a sky full of stars.
The next morning we left very early on the camels. It was cold, but the beauty of the stars and sunrise certainly made up for it.
Overall we found it a very nice experience, you spend a lot of time in the car but the views are so pretty that you forget about that. Little disappointed on the overnight stays (since we took every additional option to upgrade them) but everything was well organized and we made lifetime memories.

Very nice trip, amazing desert camp and nice people. Even though it's a long trip with the bus (7/4/10 hours), the driver is very good and I think it's worth it. I recommend you to take the luxury hotel in Dades, the basic option we had was not really good; but I heard that the ones staying in luxury had a great night (and food 😁)
I recommend this trip for everyone who wants an amazing experience in Morocco.

Took the luxury camp for a group of 12 and it’s The.Best.Package.Ever!!! Facilities are the best that you can have in a desert. The stars are amazing while the bon fire and music was very uplifting. The dinner and breakfast served were very good. Our guide Hicham was very accomodating and informative. Our driver Murood was very careful and drive smoothly yet very punctual with picking us up and timekeeping our activities in between. We made it to Zagora in time before the sunset. The guide know when to hype things up but also not intrusive when we’re tired and wanted to rest a bit. They show us the best restaurant for lunches and did not repeat stop points. Do not hesitate to ask for any information or request, even the silliest one. I asked the driver if it’s okay to park a little bit further because the van was parked in front of a pretty building I want to took a pic of and he really did not bother even a lil bit! Everyone also seem to take a very nice pic and vid of us which is always important for a vacation!

From the start to the end of the trip, the team can only be described as fantastic! Mustapha (the driver) was always checking in with the group and making sure everybody was OK for toilet breaks, food stops, air con on the bus etc. On top of that when we returned to Marrakech, Mustapha dropped my partner and I at a different location to the rest to make sure he got as close to our Riad as possible. When we got to the desert, Youssef (our guide) went above and beyond to make sure we had the best evening, night, and morning and I couldn't recommend him highly enough. We upgraded to the deluxe package and it was worth every cent!!! Don't hesitate to book with IGoMorrocco.

I visited Marrakesh for 5 days with my girlfriend and we took the 3 day trip to Merzouga.
The experience was unforgetable. The driver was amazing, very polite and he would answer all of our questions giving us interesting info about the marrocan way of life, religion and customs.
Food was not special but it was ok to give you energy. But in my opinion when someone takes this trip the goal is to live the experience and food is there to give energy. If you want gastronomy you can spend a day in Marrakesh and look for special restaurants. So food is very ok for the purpose it serves.
The highlight was the camel trekking. Camels are beautiful strong animals. You just need to "go with the flow" when riding them and you will be fine. If you feel afraid, then you can follow your group on foot. The desert is amazing. Like you see in the movies. You can take amazing photos! Spending the night in the tent was very nice. There is a bed -at least at the private room- but you may want to bring warm clothes if you visit in winter.
All in all, a unique experience. Thanks to everyone!
Especially Yussef. Thank you my friend from Ali Baba!

We loved this trip! On the way to the desert, we stopped in a lot of nice places and at viewpoints. What we didn't know: the visit to Ait Ben Haddou costs 30 dirham per person and drinks are not included during the whole trip. The first night, we stayed at Chateau de Dades. For us, this was the only downside of the trip because we didn't get much dinner and the hotel was very cold. The camelride during sunset was amazing and our absolute favourite! Abdoul, our taxi driver to Fes, was very friendly, stopped whenever we wanted/needed to and was happy to answer our questions. The trip was organized very well.

I joined the private trip for the "2-day Marrakech to Zagora Desert Tour" with my 11 friends, and we really love it!!! We couldn't ask for a better trip! I Go Morocco provided excellent service. Best price guaranteed too!

The booking process was so easy and smooth. The customer service was very professional and responsive.

We really like our tour guide (Hicham) and driver (Murood). Hicham was very friendly, resourceful, and always made sure to make us comfortable. Despite of the road's twist and turns, Murood also drove comfortably. Overall, they are both very professional!

Because we only had 4 days in Morocco, we were worried that Zagora wouldnt give us that full experience of Sahara desert. But we were wrong! The trip was really worth it. We got to enjoy sunset camel ride, exceptional camping tent under the stars, traditional musical performance, and beautiful sunrise. I would recommend anyone with short stay at Marrakech to join this trip!
