Nice to see this place in Morocco as part of a tour. It is definitely worth seeing because we had been to the Alhambra just a few week prior. Compared to the sites in Spain, one can definitely see the difference.

About $10USD to get in, very picturesque, but can get quite busy. Good for a walk though and picture taking.

I had the good fortune to tour the Bahia Palace with few people, as we arrived when it opened. The palace is absolutely gorgeous and the building is so beautiful. This is a MUST-SEE while in Marrakesh.

Harem, colorful tiles, crowds and orange trees all come to mind. Would rate higher if it had not been so crowded. Better to use a guide as there are numerous rooms and gardens. Signage descriptions could be improved.

Even though there were a lot of people there when we visited, because it is so big, it was only the first courtyard that felt crowded. There are multiple rooms and courtyards, each decorated with intricate paperwork, tiles, glass and carved wood. There is also...More

An interesting dip into the history of the area. Not sure how the girls felt at the time being kept away from outside view and competing to be number one. The palace has some amazing detail and is being well preserved. Well worth a look.

If you visited Alhambra in Grenada, you will be dissapointed. However, it is a good place to relax away from busy Medina streets. Go early in the morning to avoid the tourists.

Absolutely beautiful and worth a visit. Beautiful garden, mosaics and property itself. But my advice to get there early to skip the crowds.

I suppose it would be interesting to visit it with a tour gide, but since we were together with 6 years old "princess", we let her to imagine what happened in each of palace halls :) We came here around 10am and it was not...More

Loved it. The design and workmanship is something to behold. Sounds odd, but marvel at the ceilings with their intricate design and construction. Lovely peaceful garden. Would suggest visiting early in the day.

There were no walking tours offered at the palace that I saw. There were no signs with descriptions in the palace. There were people that had a tour guide as part of a group tour, or you may also be able to set up a walking... More
