Traditional storytelling dates back thousands of years an is an important part of the Moroccan collective memory. However this rich tradition is fading asfewer raconteurs detail rich narratives for crowds in Jema el-Fna’a square. Cafe Clock reinvigorates this tradition by bringing retired storytellers to perform alongside freshly trained apprentices of the craft. Stories in English and Arabic.

This place is just amazing. From the very warm welcoming staff to the diverse menu...we both had camel burgers and date milkshakes which are to die for...all home made to order! Followed by the best mint lemonade and spicy coffees. This is a must visit location for Marrakesh.

This cafe was a great place to stop from a hassle of outside. The medina is just a crazy place and this cafe offers quite all right coffee and nice sweets, as well as food and wifi. Nothing special in terms of food but still a good place to see.

We visited Cafe Clock to attend "Kech Download" on the first day of our stay in Marrakech, We attended as a family of four with two teenagers. The Cafe was easy to find, is welcoming and the whilst we didn't sample the menu, it is varied. We were expecting to learn Moroccan phrases, common gestures, mealtime etiquette and religious customs.... More

I went to this place for dinner because of their vegetarian choices and to take a break from regular food. I was really surprised by the warm welcome and the great food that I had. I chose Harira and vegetarian sandwich and enjoyed both. I sat in the terrace as downstairs was occupied, even though it was a bit cold... More

Besides having a lovely food, the service was sparkling! The servers are genuine and go beyond friendly. I highly recommend this place. It's a bit of a walk to get there but totally worth the effort.

Recommended by staff at the riad we were staying at (so probably connected in some way 🙂), we escaped a rainy street into a fairly funky, vaguely kitsch riad. Despite the dull day, it was still fairly light inside. The was a good variety on the menu, with plenty of vegetarian options marked - the toasted vegetable sandwich went down... More

this café was recommended as a good place to go but unfortunately for us it was very quiet and no atmosphere - we ordered tagine that was bland and dry - maybe visiting out of season didn't help -

We found cafe clock on tripadvisor and it certainly didnt disappoint, this place is hidden away in old Marrakech and is quirky. The food and entertainment are superb we came here for dinner and breakfast and its not very often we do that we will certainly be returning when we are in Marrakech next.

A real gem. Bright and airy arts space with cookery classes, African drumming and storytelling. We saw the latter and it was great entertainment, refreshingly different from everywhere else. Amazing food. I had the aubergine tart. Highly recommend!

I was looking forward to this place. Very funky interiors but the lunch was such a let down. Great place to visit, maybe just for drinks. Don't bother eating the food.
