Wow!! A must for everyone that comes to Morocco. This experience was so worth it.
We went to different villages and had tours with different guides.

The first day we slept at "Maison D'hôtes restaurant - Chez L'Habitant Amazigh - Sté Amazigh family" And The dinner tasted so good, the family was really welcoming and the rooms were cozy.

The dromedary ride in the desert was beautiful and the luxury camp exceeded our expectations. The dinner and breakfast were also really tasty.

Thanks to the driver Mohammed Bajo, he is a really experienced driver and provided us with an enjoyable 3 day trip.

Would repeat the experience 😁

We really enjoyed this experience.

First we saw tiny waterfalls with a great view, then we were guided to a small house where we had a cup of tea and they explained about how argan oil is made and how it's used.

We continued the tour with a small trail leading to beautiful waterfalls (with comfortable boat ride) and an enjoyable lunch.

After that we continued the trail and saw monkeys walking freely in their habitat.

Great guided tour, everyone was professional.
Recommend a lot 😊

Great experience with the the trip to merzouga! We had Abdou ( Abdesamed) our driver/guide who was very friendly, competent and helpful along the whole trip! He was very punctual and drives safely, speaks very well english and french! We changed our pick up point just the evening before the trip and Abdou quickly confirmed that he will pick us up from the new place the next morning. We recommend the trip and look forward to our next time! Thank you for the great time!

Abdou was super great! Trip had a lot of travel, not enough dessert time. Tourist shop traps were a bit much for me.

I can't recommend this trip enough.

We were messaged the day before, with a pickup time. The driver arrived on time and he was great. He spoke multiple dialects and couldn't have been nicer. The 3 hour drive up into the Atlas Mountains was comfortable and relaxing, and the half way coffee break was a nice touch.

The falls are a thing of beauty, the images online do not do this place any justice. It's truly breathtaking and one of the most stunning places I've visited.

The tour guide was amazing, he kept us all together and really made the most of our hike. We were shown around the local homes and met the women who make oils and creams from the local produce. They gave us tea and biscuits, truly humbling!

The boat ride under the waterfall was a nice touch! And the food in the restaurant overlooking the falls was amazing. So tasty!

The monkeys are cheeky, but friendly.
Be wary of the locals that "give" you food for the monkeys. Most of them are fine, but we had a guy that followed us around demanding money for a small piece of crushed up biscuit that he practically threw into my wife's hand. Our tour guide was on to him instantly and kept him away from us.

All in all, an absolute dream of an excursion, and I highly recommend it.

Note: not good for wheelchair users or pushchairs.

The view was stunning and this was a great way to spend a day while visiting Marrakech. The guide was great, the falls were gorgeous, and seeing wild monkeys was a special treat! Be sure to buy some peanuts to feed them!

Great day trip from Marrakech. We were picked up early around 8:15 am and reached the waterfalls in approx 3 hours.

At the falls we started the tour with a stop at a traditional Amazir house where they sold natural products like argan oil made by a woman’s cooperative. We also had a chance to interact with monkeys that live in the area.

The boat ride was very nice because we got close to the falls. The lunch was very delicious!

Be prepared for a hike and steps, so wear comfy shoes!

As a lone female traveller this trip was perfect, the driver and the guide were very helpful and I was very well looked after. The journey was pleasant and the walk down to the waterfall was good! The boat trip at the waterfall was great! Lots of walking and stairs so bear that in mind! I personally loved the exercise. Also make sure to bring coins for the toilets as everywhere charges couple of dirham. I would also bring some cash although you can pay for food by card at the restaurant. There was some gorgeous pomegranate juice on the way round fresh and made in front of you! And the waterfall was breathtaking and the food delicious! Be careful of the monkeys as if they hear a rustling packet they go wild but the guide looks out for you! Highly recommend!

This is a superb day out away from the city. Ofcourse they show you around and do the same pitches to get you to buy argnat oil or catus oil, but the tour guides will keep you from being pestered by the men with monkeys etc.

As others have said - do settle in as it is a good few hours each way on the minibus, so bring water, a couple of coins for the loos and, some snacks. Probably some sunscreen too.

Had a great time, really chuffed we chose this
