Though we are not exactly art connoisseurs we decided to give this place a go. The fact that it is air conditioned was a large contributor to the decision. The entry cost is 15dh for students (we were able to convince the ticket man that...More

A large, stunningly designed, nearly new, museum of modern Moroccan art - as an art enthusiast and practitioner, I could not fail to be impressed. We visited on our first day of our two week stay in Morocco, and it remained one of the highlights...More

Worth the Dh. I was unfamiliar with the art scene in Morocco and this was a great permanent collection. I'll echo what others have said about the cafe and gift store.

A newer museum in a beautiful building which is certainly trying to put together something compelling. The collection is nice but somewhat limited in scope.

The museum is on a busy corner in a beautiful building. Lots of staff and very helpful. Only $3.50 or so to get in. Small collection but nicely hung of Moroccan Contemporary and Modern Art. Many things that we liked. A special exhibition was well...More

Small entrance fee but if you want a history of ancient and contemporary Morocco come to this museum. I was especially struck by the photography on the lower level.

At just about $2 per person, it's the best deal on an art museum abroad I've found. They focus on Moroccan and African art and do a superb job. The displays are thoughtfully chosen, varied and fascinating. Worth every penny and minute of our time....More

This museum is probably the best in Morocco and the most interesting one to visit in Africa. It is beautiful.
