We went yesterday with my two friends, there welcoming is so good. And everyone there is kind-heartedly, I found that people have too much talent in painting. There work is so beautiful and we bought some paintings, they are not so costful. I had chit...More

Unlike pretty much everywhere else in Dar, I didn't get hassled here. The prices were VERY fair - much more reasonable than other road side places or markets, and the range of art work is vast. This is THE place to come for Tinga Tinga...More

We visited Tinga Tinga as part of a city tour of Dar Es Salaarm. The art work was lovely to look at and also to watch the various artists at work. There was not much more to see in this area.

At the last minute, we took a bajaji to Tinga Tinga and I'm so glad we did. Take a look at the couple of websites to learn the history and story of the origins of this style of painting. The work is beautiful and interesting!...More
